Jamboree Highlights

The 24th World Scout Jamboree was an experience of a lifetime for 45,000 young people from over 150 countries who came together at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia. The global event featured 12 days of cultural exchange, camping, adventure, skills building and citizenship education.

This newsletter highlights the stories of impact from the Jamboree, where Scouts from around the world had the opportunity to form lifelong friendships and learn how to become leaders for positive change in their communities.

Scouts showed their force behind international unity and understanding at the Cultural Day Celebration and Unity Show.

Scouts learned about World Scouting's global initiatives and programmes at the Better World Tent. They were introduced to programmes and projects that has inspired millions of Scouts to make local, national and global impacts through grassroots community service projects and initiatives that contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals.

Did you know there is more to a World Scout Jamboree than adventure? At the Global Development Village Scouts learned from many global experts and organisations how to be leaders of positive and sustainable change in their communities!
